Byzantine lamellar (klibanion) made of brass plates, riveted to the base with brass rivets. Plates thickness: 1mm. Base and bonds made of vegetable tanned cattle leather. Fastenings in form of forged brass buckles. The patterns are numerous examples in Byzantine art from 10th-13th century (e.g. from frescoes on the south wall of the church of St. Nicholas tou Kasnitzi church in Kastoria- Greece, 3 quarter of the 12th century).
